4. System Functions

4.1 The system is designed for practicing and evaluating basic thrusting techniques. It can detect and display in real time the attack points, attack intensity, and number of strikes involved in basic thrusting exercises, providing fair and accurate data for both practice and assessment, thereby effectively enhancing fencing skills. The chopping module features sensing capabilities that record the number of strikes delivered to designated chopping areas. The system meets the needs of both thrusting and chopping practice. It includes a human-shaped target sensor system pairing function, a personnel information setting function, a practice duration setting function, a scoring and assessment function, as well as functions for starting, pausing, resetting, and ending practice sessions. Additionally, it offers database storage, retrieval, and printing capabilities for assessment results.

4.2 When effectively striking a humanoid target and the sensor detects the area of the thrust point, the system can determine both the valid attack location and the attack intensity.

4.3 When attacking a humanoid target with sufficient force and effectively striking the sensing area of the chopping module, the system can identify the valid attack location.

4.4 Users can independently set the intensity of thrusts at targeted body parts, the assessment duration, and the number of assessment attempts. The system can detect thrust data including the target areas (face, left chest, right chest, abdomen), attack intensity, and number of attacks. It collects and processes data in real time, filters and computes the data through the system, and displays the results on the screen in real time. The system also features voice prompts.

4.5 The system can record the date, time, personnel involved, duration of the exercise, and exercise results. It can also record attack actions in real time and statistically analyze data such as the number of times each body part has been attacked.

4.6 Supports simultaneous practice and assessment for single individuals or multiple groups; scores can be aggregated and statistically analyzed, and signal transmission on the display end can be synchronized with the software system in real time.

4.7 Features comprehensive grade management capabilities, allowing for batch import of assessment personnel lists and evaluation of their scores based on established assessment criteria.
