Quanzhou Wurong Elected as a Vice-President Unit of the “Quanzhou Military-Civilian Integration Industry Development Promotion Association” (Photo Gallery)
On April 23, Quanzhou Wurong Sporting Goods Co., Ltd. was invited to attend the inaugural meeting of the “Quanzhou Military-Civil Fusion Industry Development Promotion Association,” held at the Haishi Boya International Hotel. The meeting brought together representatives from more than 70 member enterprises across various industries in Quanzhou, specializing in the defense sector. Also in attendance were representatives from the Provincial Committee Office for Military-Civil Fusion, the Provincial Military-Civil Fusion Industry Alliance, the Quanzhou Military Sub-district, military representatives from all branches of the armed forces, as well as officials from the military-civil fusion offices of various counties (cities and districts) and relevant municipal departments. According to the introduction, the Quanzhou Military-Civil Fusion Industry Development Promotion Association is a local, non-profit social organization composed of upstream and downstream enterprises in Quanzhou’s military-civil fusion industry, along with experts from related sectors. The association’s business supervisory authority is the Office of the Quanzhou Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China for Military-Civil Fusion Development, and its registration and management authority is the Quanzhou Civil Affairs Bureau. The primary goal of the Quanzhou Military-Civil Fusion Industry Development Promotion Association is to establish a collaborative platform for information sharing and cooperation among the military, government, and enterprises. The association will provide preliminary guidance to companies entering the defense sector, assist them in obtaining military qualification certifications, and help them get their products listed on the All-Army Weapon and Equipment Information Procurement Network and the Army Procurement Network catalog. It will also organize analyses and discussions on military procurement needs, providing enterprises with tailored solutions for fulfilling these demands; assist companies in applying for major national and provincial science and technology projects and industrial special programs related to military product research and production; facilitate learning and business exchanges among members; support the expansion of military research and production activities; further promote the entry of civilian products into the military sector; and accelerate the advancement of Quanzhou’s military-civil fusion development toward higher levels. At the meeting, Quanzhou Wurong Sporting Goods Co., Ltd., leveraging its many years of experience in the research, production, and sales of military products, was elected as a vice-president unit based on its strong capabilities.
