What are the access management systems in the fields of weapons and equipment research, production, and maintenance?
As China’s management system for the defense science and technology industry and its weapons and equipment procurement system continue to improve, the access-control system in the fields of weapons and equipment research, production, and maintenance has been gradually refined. From different management perspectives, the State Council and relevant military authorities have carried out confidentiality qualification reviews and certifications for weapons and equipment research and production entities, as well as quality-system certifications for weapons and equipment. Moreover, they have established a licensing system for weapons and equipment research and production and a qualification review system for units contracted to manufacture such equipment.
